Amanda Lee

Amanda is a third generation hair stylist and has been involved in the beauty industry all of her life. She was raised in her grandmother’s salon and was a fixture at her mother’s salon in her teenage years. At an early age, Amanda decided to pursue a career in the beauty industry and obtained her cosmetologist license just before graduating high school. Since then, she has been dedicated to high levels of training, education, and certification.In the over 12 years of her career, she has worked with local TV stations on makeover shows and photographers doing print work. Amanda’s passion and knowledge of her field has progressed and is portrayed through work. She has become exclusive with REDKEN 5th AVE NYC and participated in their advanced training. Her passion for the industry is what led her to opening Nova Bella’s doors.

Pamela Myers

Pam was born and raised in South Carolina. She received her cosmetology license upon graduating high school and has been working in the industry for over 20 years. Through those years she has attended hair shows and classes all over the country to advance her training, staying current on ever changing hairstyle fashions and foil placement techniques. Pam also owned her own salon for about 10 years (Ovations Hair and Nail Salon) before deciding to sell in order to concentrate on higher education within the beauty industry and raise her daughter. She has, among other achievements, styled hair for fashion shows, television commercials, and some of our local celebrities.

Pam has been using GOLDWELL COLOR exclusively for more than 15 years, and she loves all aspects of doing hair, especially cutting, styling, color, and foiling. Pam has a genuine love for people and her passion for this business is evident in the quality of her work.

She says, “Working at a job that allows me to be creative and have fun is what it’s all about!!”

Kelsey Davis

Born and raised here in Columbia, Kelsey has always known she wanted a career where she could meet new people and do something different every day. As a graduate of Paul Mitchell the School, she uses the unique skills and creativity that she has grown to possess to make the world a more beautiful place. She does this by utilizing her ever evolving techniques and styles.

Kelsey has a strong passion for the industry and enjoys all aspects of hair design, including foiling, styling, cutting, and color. She specializes in wet and blow-dry styling, as well as special occasion styling. Staying current is very important in the hair industry, and Kelsey prides herself on learning all the newest trends in styling, coloring, and cutting. She plans on staying in this industry for the rest of her life, and couldn’t be happier doing anything else! Looking forward to work every day is something she never imagined she would experience, but she’s having so much fun doing what she loves!

Melia Cartmell

Melia Cartmell is a Massage Therapist/Esthetician and has lived in the Upstate of South Carolina all her life. Melia decided on a career in Massage Therapy in 2006 and attended Southeastern School of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy in Greenville, SC. She graduated at the top of her class and immediately began working in a chiropractic office. She strongly believes in the benefits of alternative therapies. Melia also has several years of experience in spa settings. She has a vast knowledge and experience in Swedish, deep-tissue, neuromuscular, prenatal, and hot-stone massage. She really enjoys knowing how much her therapies improve the health of her clients. She treats everyone on an individual basis and uses the best techniques for each client. Melia also performs several different types of body treatments, including salt and sugar scrubs, as well as body wraps and masks.

After working in spa settings, Melia decided to expand her services to include skin care. She graduated with Honors from Greenville Technical College in Greenville, SC in Esthetics and plans to continue her education in the very latest and advanced esthetic treatments. Melia performs facials that are designed specifically for each client. She also performs full body waxing and makeup application. Some of her favorite treatments are advanced treatments such as microdermabrasion, chemical peels, micro current, LED light therapy, and ultrasound therapy. Melia is always striving to improve the health and well-being of every client, inside and out. Lyonisha Sanders

Lyonisha has known since middle school that she had a passion and gift for doing hair. She has always had a passion for science and skin care as well. She attended Farrah’s Beauty School, where she obtained her Cosmetology License and graduated Valedictorian of her class. She also attended Allen University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry. Since then, Lyonisha has evolved her skills and become a Master Hair Care Specialist.

Lyonisha has 18 years of experience in the beauty industry. She has a strong passion for the beauty industry, and enjoys satisfying her clients, and giving them her best. Lyonisha specializes in Relaxers, Natural Hair Care, Weaving, and Precision Cuts. She enjoys enhancing the inner beauty, as well as outer beauty, and vows to give her clients the best hair and skin care experience. She is the mother of one son and a native of Columbia, SC.

Teresa Carter

Teresa has been a nail technician for over 15 years and has been serving The Vista area for over a decade. She is extremely knowledgeable in the nail industry. She has a unique passion for her profession and aims to please. She is very punctual, professional and of course, personal. She is efficient in all types of nail services from artificial nail enhancements to natural nails. Her products of choice include Creative Nail Design products such as Brisa Gel, Solar Nail Acrylics (pink and whites acrylics) and Shellac along with OPI’s manicure and pedicure systems and Gel Color polish.

One of her newest and most favorite additions to her services is the Shellac manicures and pedicures. This service offers beautiful results that last more than two weeks without any chipping, nicks and dry time. No kidding! She offers all three products of gel polish – Shellac, Gelish and OPI Gel Color which allows her to give a variety of color choices and combinations. She is happily married to a wonderful husband and they have three beautiful children. Being a mother and a wife makes life full of surprises, laughter and joy. Add that to doing what she loves as a career and Teresa is a happy, pleasant person who will quickly become someone you will love to come see!

Lexie Ivanko

With experience as a professional salon stylist for over four years now, Lexie’s passion is to make people look and feel their best! She knew from a young age that she wanted to make a positive impact in others’ lives and can amp up any client with her unique approach to cutting and color.

She invests significant amounts of time and energy to stay current in the ever-changing beauty and fashion industry, making sure to keep up-to-date with new trends and techniques. As a graduate of Paul Mitchell’s Phase Two Honors Program, she travels across the United States for educational hair shows and classes. Lexie is skilled in working with all types of hair and specializes in all types of color ranging from very natural to wild and dramatic.

Tracey Chau

Tracey has been a nail technician for over fifteen years. A native of California, she graduated from NailPro in San Diego before moving to South Carolina to begin her career. Tracey considers herself to be carefree, optimistic, and family-oriented. She is happily married and has three beautiful daughters. Tracey has always enjoyed helping others feel beautiful and showing them the bright side of life one nail at a time.

Tracey offers all types of nail services including manicures, pedicures, artificial nails, and gel nails. She uses products by OPI, Creative Nail Design, Shellac, and Gelish to cater to every customer’s individual needs.
